LETTER OF EXPLANATION

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am writing to apply for a Canadian study permit in order to complete my Graduate Certificate program at [College Name], starting in September 2017. This program is a solid step towards my future career as a professional in International Business Management. And I think that my educational and practical background will help me to do that well.

I, [Your name], was born on December 27, 1992, in Hai Phong. I graduated Vietnam National University of Economics and Business with degree of Bachelor in International Economics. I have grown among intelligent people and it had great influence on the development of my personality so since early childhood I have had the entrepreneurial spirit within me. After graduated at University, I work for my family's company as a business staff. I help my father expanding markets and negotiating with partners. In the near future, I will replace my father managing the company. I am trying to study and work hard to be able to do that. However, as a dynamic and creative young man, I want my company not only to develop in Hai Phong and some neighboring provinces but also but also internationally. I will run the company professionally and systematically. I began to think of further learning to improve my knowledge and skills.

For my senior research, study abroad is the best way to get the skills which need for my career. When I finish my study abroad program and return home, I will return with a new perspective on culture, language skills, a great education, and a willingness to learn. Needless to say, all of these are very important in managing the company in the future. . I strongly believe that a postgraduate study will be a milestone in my career along with invaluable experiences that will allow me to become a successful, creative professional and assist me in accomplishing my goals. At last, I chose Canada to study because Canada is a symbol of business excellence. I have been working since I graduated from the University. My skill and experience has been developing and accummulated. However, I know my English skills have not been good. Studying in Canada is the chance of improving my English skills and management skills.

FAMILY BACKGROUND

I live in a family of five people including myself. My father (Mr. [Name]) and my mother (Mrs. [Name]) have been working at the [Company Name] as owner. I have two elder sisters, who are Mrs. [Name] and Mrs. [Name], all of them are married and do business.

My parents have some income's sources as follows:

1. From my parents' job:

In 2009, my parents opened a private company namely [Company Name]. According to the company's report of result of business activities of year 2015 and 2016, the cost of business management about 1,600,000,000 VND to 1,800,000,000 VND per year. Minus the cost of paying for the supervisors, my parents earn around 115,000,000 VND monthly. Moreover, the total profits after tax of our company is about 520,000,000 VND per year. The amount will be used for investing in the next year or divide the dividend. I also enclosed supporting documents such as Certificate of business registration, the report of result of business activities, State budget cash receipt...

2. Interest from saving book:

Based on my family's saving book, my family can earn interest with VND 15,683,333 per month.

STUDY PURPOSE AND PLAN

After searching extensively for a suitable academic program, the Graduate Certificate in International Business Management at the [College Name] has emerged as my top choice. My choice of this college is motivated by the current job and the potential of the faculty at [College Name] that can train me to become one of the best Business management in Vietnam.

Furthermore,[College Name] provides a learning experience that is supported by highly experienced and trained faculty from a wide range of disciplines and industries. Course material is delivered in a variety of methods including traditional lectures, case studies, simulations, guest speakers and field trips and a unique applied learning approach.

During the Applied Project, you will work with mentors and fellow classmates on real life, real world international projects for real clients. This experience will demonstrate to others that you can put words into action and will also clearly illustrate to employers that you are ready for the world of international business.

The length of my program is 2 years. I will start to study English Language Learning course from September 05, 2017 to April 2018 for meeting the entrance requirement of [College Name] of International Business Management. My schedule study is in details as follows:

FINANCIAL ABILITY

1. Asset owned:

My parents legally own assets as follows:

• 100% ownership of house and land use at [address]. Book No. BH 318805
• 100% ownership of land use at [address]. Contract of the land use right transfer and the assets on the land on 29th January 2015 at office of [Name of Notary office], at [address of Notary office]. No.726/2015. Book No:01TP/CC-SCC/HĐGD.
• My parents have total of VND 2,500,000,000 deposited at VP Bank and USD 150,000 deposited at Vietcombank.
• I myself also have VND 300,000,000 deposited at BIDV.

The money has been accumulated during years of my parents and my hard working. We earn a good bank interest from it. The saving amount may also be used to pay for my study in case my parents earn less from their work.

2. Monthly income:

My parents have prepared enough money to sponsor the study of myself. Our family has two sources of finance that can be used to pay for my study, which include 1) earning from parents' work and 2) bank interest from saving book . The details for 2016 are as follows:

 In view of the above, I sincerely hope that my application of student's visa to Canada will receive your favorable consideration and approval. I will complete all the necessary documents to meet Immigration Canada's requirements.

The saving book in Vietcombank ($150,000USD) will be used for my studying in Canada.
