LETTER OF EXPRESSION

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am writing this letter to express my interest in obtaining a visa to Canada for my study.

I am [your full name], born on June 7th 1994 in Ho Chi Minh City. I have completed Nguyen Khuyen high school, which is one of the best high schools in Ho Chi Minh City (August 22rd, 2012) with a good ranking. I also have got 5.5 score in IELTS test. I have been studying at Hoa Sen University. I applied Canadian Study visa but denied on April 16th 2015 because of my affordable tuition fee, living cost and my personal asset and financial status. My UCI number is: .............

In the first application, I searched information myself from the website: www.cic.gc.ca, therefore, I have not provided the sufficient information to persuade the Consulate. After I review our application and seek more information, I am writing this letter with my Canada visa application package to explain more clearly about my study.

FAMILY BACKGROUND

I live in a family of four people including myself. My father (Mr. .......................) and my mother (Mrs ........................) currently possess a "Pho" restaurant in [Pho's address]. My parents created and have been working there for 20 years. This is a job handed down from ancestors. My elder sister has her private family with her husband. My elder sister and her husband are currently founder of [shop's name] Automobile spare part shop. My parents and my elder sister's family will sponsor me during time I study and live in Canada.

In the previous application, I was refused Canadian study visa because of affordable tuition fee, living cost, transportation fee and my personal asset and financial status. Please review again my parents' income as well as my elder sister's income

For my parents:

1. With traditional job handed down from ancestors, my parents have been working here over 20 years. Therefore, my parents have a lot of work experiences and regular customers. Normally, a "Pho" bowl is sold at 35.000 VND/bowl. This is cheaper than average price in the local. As you know, the cost of sale of a "Pho" bowl includes material cost (around 18.000 VND/bowl); labor cost (around 5.000 VND); electricity, water bills and tax (around 5,000 VND). From that, the profit of the "Pho" bowl is around 7.000 VND (=35.000-18.000-5.000).

There are two busy times in a day. Morning from 6h30 AM to 8h30 AM, this is a breakfast time of Vietnamese, so the restaurant is to busy. In this time, my restaurant can sell around 125 bowls. Next busy time is the late evening (after 22h). This is time that most of younger Vietnamese will come to my parent's restaurant for late dinner. That time brings around 170 customers back my company. In total, my parents can sell around 295 "Pho" bowls.

Therefore, my parents earn around 2.065.000 VND (7.000 x 295), equivalent 62.000.000 VND/month

2. Interest from saving books.
My mother has a saving book deposited 3.300.000.000 VND, opened on August 6th 2015 with 12 month-duration and interest rate is 5.8%/year. Every month, my mother certainly earns 15.950.000 VND. The saving book is accumulated during years of my parents.

3. From the house for rent.
On July 8th 2015, my parents signed the house lease contract with Mr ............ He will rent my parents' house (address is: [address]) within 2 years and 12.000.000 VND per month for rent. Notary Public of Notary Office of District 8 – Ho Chi Minh City confirms the house lease contract.

For my elder sister and her husband:

1. My elder sister and her husband do business in Automobile filed. They are a founder of [shop's name] Automobile Spare part shop. They often import goods from South Korean. After that, they sell directly for Hyundai system as sole agent in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Can Tho,... Their customers are such as Ngoc An Hyundai JSC, Binh Duong Huyndai,... [shop's name] Automobile often processes VAT invoice through Khanh An Product – Commerce – Service Company Limited. [law company's name] Company is also the company that my brother-in-law holds vice of director with salary of 20.000.000 VND/month. In previous application, I explained in details of my elder sister' family from [shop's name] Automobile. I think all information you still keep on the system, so the total of income is around 49.000.000 VND (including my brother in law's salary from [law company's name]) – I also attached some contracts and tax invoices. This Website [shop's name] company is [website's name].

2. Interest from saving book:
My elder sister has a saving book deposited 500.000.000 VND, opened on February 9th 2015 with 03 month-duration (automatically rolling) and interest rate is 4.5%/year. Every month, my elder sister certainly earns 1.875.000 VND.

STUDY PURPOSE AND PLAN

I was influenced by my elder sister through her current work that she is doing. Vietnamese economy is very dynamic and more challenges. Besides, Vietnam just signed Trans-Pacific Partnership including Canada. Then I think, if I have enough knowledge in business, I have more opportunities in building my future. So I wish to pursue a program related to Business Administration.

After seeking information, I know that Canada is the leading country in teaching business programs for people. Canada, together with other countries such as UK, USA, etc, has the best economy in the world. In addition, with the transformation of the current economic situation, I will be able to learn how they manage it.

For my family, Canada is one of the best education destinations. I will take the English course first for upgrading my IELTS score for meeting the requirements of college. Currently I have 5.5 Academic IELTS so I just take a short English course from [Language school], then I will take a Business Administration – Accounting (Co-op) at [College].

My study plan in Canada includes:

FINANCIAL ABILITY

b) My elder sister and her husband own fully 01 house in Ho Chi Minh City as follows:

• My elder sister has 500.000.000 VND deposited at bank. The money has been accumulated during years of her hard working and house leasing. She earns a good bank interest from it. The saving amount may also be used to pay for my study in case my parents earn less from my parents' work.

2. Monthly income:

My parents and my elder sister have prepared enough money to sponsor the study of myself. Our family has five sources of finance that can be used to pay for my study, which include 1) renting house, 2) earning from parents' work, 3) bank interest from my mother savings, 4) earning from my elder sister and her husband's work, and 5) my elder sister's saving.
